Tower lamp is a visual indicating device with multi colour LED indications, typically Red, Green and Orange. These buttons correspond to a pre-defined problem. Typically a User presses a corresponding button to switch on a particular colour lamp to get the attention of the supervisor or maintenance guy for quick action. Intelligent tower lamps add more value to these lamps by providing it capability to send SMS, email and or mobile notification allowing tower lamps to reach beyond ‘visual’ reach. So the alert is no longer limited to ‘visibility’ of the lamp but it can reach to appropriate people who are not within the visible arena covered by the lamp.
