In battery testing, primarily life cycle tests, the battery is kept under cyclic operation of charging and discharging. Ampere Hour Logger IM2511 is used in such applications where DC Voltage, DC Current, AH count (charge) and/or Watt Hour count (energy) is logged periodically. It has two individual displays that are used for showing voltage and current. As per requirement, customers can set a time interval for charging and discharging. This data can be downloaded later serially to a PC or directly printed on a serial printer.

Battery Monitoring Ampere Hour Meter IM 2505 is a device which is used to measure charge and discharge from a battery. It is ideally useful for applications where large battery banks are used as well as in applications like Inverters and UPS where batteries are used. IM2505 tracks the battery charge and at any given point of time shows the charge present in the battery. It provides an optional factor to cater for battery aging. IM2505 is used in Submarines where Kilo AH capacity battery banks are used. It comes with an optional Modbus Interface to be used with SCADA or similar software for online monitoring of the battery status.

IM2502C is the most commonly used Ampere Hour meter in electroplating as well as in battery monitoring applications. It has one setpoint for rectifier controller plus it has built in totaliser, which allows batching operation in plating applications and gives the total charge from rectifier in case of battery applications. The totaliser can be used to ascertain the electrolyte concentration and decide about adding the chemicals periodically. IM2502C has two displays, one for showing current flowing in the circuit and other display shows present AH count and/ or total AH count. Modbus communication is optional for remote monitoring these units.
